Wrinkles Around the Mouth
We all must age, but it is would be nice to do so gracefully. Wrinkles often start around the mouth and eyes. Learning what causes these wrinkles to appear and ways to decrease them can make you look better and younger longer.
Wrinkles around the mouth are often called smile lines. Damage from the sun is the first cause of all wrinkles. Some doctors believe that people would not have wrinkles until a very old age if they stayed out of the sun completely. This is why you should always wear sunscreen, even in the winter and on cloudy days. A daily moisturizer with an SPF of 15 to 30 is a good idea. Around the mouth, smoking is another big contributing factor to wrinkles. Women and men who smoke generally get wrinkles around their mouth much sooner than people who do not smoke.
In order to prevent wrinkles you should always wear sunscreen, refrain from smoking, and keep your skin and body hydrated. Drinking plenty of water is not good for both the skin and body. Wrinkles occur when collagen below the skin breaks down and deteriorates. Over time this will cause skin to sag and droop as well.
There are wrinkle creams that can help prevent and reduce wrinkle on the face and around the mouth. There are some ingredients that work well in wrinkle creams. Some of the best ingredients are Matrixyl 3000 and Vitamin C. Vitamin C helps the skin naturally produce collagen and Matrixyl has been shown to reduce deep wrinkles. Exfoliation is also an important part of wrinkle reduction. Getting rid of dead skin cells so that new healthy cells can replace them will renew skin and make it look young again. Hyaluronic acid is a good exfoliating ingredient in wrinkle creams.
